Sherrod should be commended for her honesty about her realization that racism is wrong on any level. The way the story came out was atrocious by any legitimate reading of the facts. I really feel badly for this woman and what has happened to her. They have all since apologized and she was offered her job back. Would you want to go back to work for Vilsak?

The blaming of BigGovernment.com (Brietbart) and Fox News is to a point correct. They did jump the gun before checking the facts. For that they deserve thumbs down. Bill O’Reily actually called for the woman’s resignation. Albeit, it was after she had already resigned, but he didn’t know that. O’Reily gave a halfhearted attempt at an apology tonight but it was too little to late after last night he spent a second consecutive night condemning this woman. The one person on Fox News that defended this woman was the one person actually mentioned most in the story. Glenn Beck.

I still have to ask the question though????

The original video released on BigGovernment.com was clearly a poor cell phone video. The NAACP had the entire video and was of a much higher quality. That still leaves the question of who gave the video to Brietbart? Obviously it was somebody sitting in that same meeting and with a pretty good seat. Could it be that it was Brietbart and Fox News that was snookered by the NAACP instead?

Just a thought
